At 42 I have found it much harder to lose and maintain my desired weight than I did at 32. To lower my cholesterol and to get fit, I recently I returned to working out 3x’s a week and trying to eat healthier, which for me meant fewer trans fats as well as calories. The toughest part of my plan hasn’t turned out to be the addition of exercise, but rather the elimination of chocolate. That was until I found these wonderful treats!
Reese’s Peanut Butter Wafer Bars have all the taste of the regular Reeses cups, with a slight crunch. Covered in milk chocolate there are 2 bars per package. One box has 7 packages and there are 4 boxes in the item (box) purchased on Amazon. I tend to have one of these when I’ve finished a meal or as a mid-afternoon treat with a cup of coffee. It feels decadent, but it’s only 100 calories!
Another bonus to these bars is that they have ZERO TRANS FAT. If you don’t know what this means, it’s simply the bad-for-your-heart fats (the ones that clog your arteries) are not part of the deal. “Healthy” fats can be saturated fats, of which there are 2.5g per package. Sodium is 50mg, total carbohydrates are 11g, with 8g of sugars and 2g of protein per serving (2 bars = 1 package). NOTE: these do contain peanuts, milk, wheat and soy.

Just wanted to clarify that it says zero GRAMS of trans fat. That means they have some trans fat in them, just not enough to make a full gram. If you’re eating more than the serving size, you will definitely be eating more than 0 GRAMS of trans fat. Just wanted to clear that up.
Anyways, I looked for these ALL over the place, and happened to find them at a Big K. Love them

I’ve tried the “full” calorie bars and the 100 Calorie bars and cannot tell the different (except the richest of the chocolate). Great for chocolate lovers watching their weight.
