Once more Nathan and Kelly must pack their bags and start trekking through dimensions to try and find Nathan’s parents and stop Mictar’s evil plans.

I liked this book every bit as much as Beyond the Reflection’s Edge, if not quite so much as the Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire books. Mr. Davis is a masterful storyteller, and it shows in Eternity’s Edge. Harrowing chases, complex mysteries, and mysterious characters abound, but none of them can stand in Nathan Shepherd’s way as he pushes on, with the help of his friends Kelly, Daryl, Dr. Gordon, and Clara. If you’re a fan of Mr. Davis, and even if you’re not, you’ll love this book!

Wow! Hang onto your seats everyone – when you read this book you are in for a wild ride!!! This is book #2 in a trilogy and it is wonderful. One word of caution though, I highly recommend reading the 1st and 2nd books back to back so you stay in the flow of Earth Red, Earth Yellow, Nathan Blue, Clara Red, Nathan Yellow, etc… I actually picked the 1st one up and read the last few chapters to try and refresh my memory but I know that reading them in direct sequence would be very helpful. I read the 1st one back in June and have read 75 (no joke) other books in between these two so no surprise that the details were a little fuzzy :-)

This is a mind bending thrill ride that will take your breath away. It may be hard for pre-teens to follow, but teens and adults alike will love this book. I can’t wait for #3 to come out and wrap everything up for me! I just kept thinking what a cool movie this series would make…

Mictar can hop dimensions like you can cross the street. He can also suck out your life energy through your eyeballs. And he’s stalking you as you try to keep Earth’s three dimensions from creating the first cosmic highway pileup.

Basically, this book is a whole lot like book one, just with a couple more annoying characters and a few more information dumps that are now at the “give-you-a-migraine” level. Classic Bryan Davis. But unlike Davis’s other fantasy, this book has action sequences that are absolutely insane. Nathan’s nightmares, featuring a creepy dimensional stalker and his mother’s violin, soaked with blood, gave me the creeps and the plot, even with the nasty information dumps, is one of the most original you’ll find.

A lot of fans of Davis’s previous books like this one better than book one. But I’m not a fan of Davis’s previous books. Still, Eternity’s Edge is definitely worth reading.

I love all of Bryan Davis’s books, I think they are really good thought provoking reads. Thanks for sharing your imaginative stories. I think this book is a great sequel even though a litlle hard to follow it’s worth getting.

Bryan Davis’ second offering in the Echoes From The Edge series is a thrilling, fast-paced fantasy novel for teens. “Eternity’s Edge” continues the action-packed adventure of teenage hero, Nathan Shepherd and his friend, Kelly as they try to save their world. They battle beings from parallel dimensions and encounter worlds very different from the home they are trying to rescue.

Davis brilliantly draws his teen audience, exposing them to God throughout the story. The characters are likeable, the plots are engaging, and the science fiction/fantasy genre is bound to spark the reader’s imagination. I highly recommend this series.
