It was very special and when we both looked inside to see the pages, we were so impressed to see that anything and everything that we would ever want to record is already included in these pages- from climate records to receipts! I HIGHLY recommend this journal to anyone! I was searching for a good gardening journal for years . . one complete with a section for planning gardens, scheduling tasks, recording growth, production and weather, etc. I was becoming frustrated because all the garden journals I could find where missing one or some of these important aspects. Then, I came across this one. It is perfect! It has all the technical, record-keeping and planning pages that I need, as well as the more traditional aspects of monthly “to do” lists and pages for keeping detailed notes.

This is a journal for a serious gardener, who needs a fully-functional garden log and planner. It’s not one of those countless other commercial gardening journals, which are pretty much just a collection of bound, lined pages, scattered with useless anecdotal gardening quotes, and a pretty picture of a garden on the front cover.

What I especially like, is that this journal will provide me with years and years of record-keeping, garden rotation planning, and all the other things I need to keep track of. It can continue expanding as much as I need, as I can easily order additional copies of various sections if needed. I also like that I can organize the pages myself (and add extra pages, sections, notes)in a way that makes sense to ME, not just the publisher. All you need is a three-ring binder. I imagine I’ll be using this for the next 30 years!
